DCTV is a nonprofit media arts center located in a landmark firehouse on the edge of New York City’s Chinatown. Its mission is to create lasting access and representation in documentary film education, production, and exhibition. DCTV has been one of the nation’s preeminent communities of and for documentary filmmakers since 1972.
By telling stories that create social change through their award-winning productions, and providing free and low-cost media education, professional training and tools, access to state-of-the-art equipment and public exhibition space in Manhattan, DCTV gives youth, aspiring, emerging, and established filmmakers and communities of all backgrounds a greater voice through nonfiction film.
In 2026, DCTV became a host and partner in the ArtsLink International Fellowships program. Charlotte Mangin, Director of Development, and Dara Messinger, Director of Programming, oversee the hosting activities.
