The Metropolitan Museum, a former ArtsLink grantee, owns approximately 11,000 drawings and 1.5 million prints. Ms. Hałasa had access to the drawings and prints collection as well as the Museum’s library and was invited to participate in fellowship activities including gallery talks, tours of conservation labs and departments, and meetings with curatorial staff from all over the Museum. She attended conferences at Rutgers University, Columbia University and made studio visits with numerous artists. As a result of her residency, she was invited to participate in a longer curatorial fellowship at the Metropolitan and in a fellowship at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
