An independent performing arts manager, Keil worked primarily as curator and coordinator of the East European Performing Arts Platform and the Dramaturgy Forum. In 2010, together with the Avant Art Foundation, she produced two new international productions which premiered at the Avant Art Festival in Wroclaw and created a series of workshops for young curators and performing arts producers. While she has specialized in international projects for the last five years, she has been active exclusively in the EU and was anxious to expand her knowledge of practices in the US. She hoped to meet performing artists and arts managers, observe the structure and management of performing arts centers and participate in the production of a play, festival or international project.
