Georgescu works in all areas of theater, from writing and directing to production, and as a social activist, introducing the practice of community theater through his organization The Offensive Generosity. His method called Active Art strives to activate both individuals and communities to revitalize a sense of mutual support for the common good. His work has been performed throughout Romania and in New York and has also taken place in unorthodox venues including a maximum security prison. He was looking forward to sharing methods of involving communities in theater work with US practitioners and was especially interested in taking part in a project that works in prisons or with at-risk children.
