Georg Schöllhammer is editor-in-chief of springerin – Hefte für Gegenwartskunst and has worked internationally on cultural projects such as documenta, Manifesta, the Venice Biennials, São Paulo, Gyumri and The School of Kiev 2015, Kyiv Biennial 2023 and 2025, Sweet Sixties, L’internationale, Former West, Wiener Festwochen and the Vienna Fair. He is the founder of ‘The Július Koller Society’. From 1988 to 1994 he was editor for visual arts at the newspaper Der Standard. Schöllhammer has been the director of tranzit.at since 2004 and is one of the initiators of Office Ukraine.
