Peter and Paul Fortress 

Through the rest of May, street artist Mark Jenkins (Washington, D.C.) will be lecturing and conducting public art workshops for young artists in St. Petersburg and Perm as part of VisArt Public Art program. Jenkins will fill the grounds of St. Petersburg’s Peter and Paul Fortress with his surreal figurative installations, on view starting May 27th. Funded by the Trust for Mutual Understanding and sponsored by 3M Company.

Amy Mackie brings C.L.U.E. to Sofia, Bulgaria

Curator Amy Mackie will bring C.L.U.E. (color location ultimate experience), a multi-media collaboration between artists A.L. Steiner, AJ Blanford and dance duo robbinschilds, to Sofia, Bulgaria for site-specific performances and presentations. This project was funded by a 2009 ArtsLink Projects award.

Katherine Gressel in St. Petersburg

US artist Katherine Gressel will be working on a collaborative public art work at a school for the hearing impaired in St. Petersburg.
