Anne LeBaron, composer and producer of the ground-breaking The Silent Steppe Cantata—a sonic portrait of Kazakhstan, presents the culmination of this multi-year project in Almaty on March 25th. The Silent Steppe Cantata has been lauded as one of the most compelling and relevant contemporary music performances in Central Asia in the past 40 years and will be performed in English, Kazakh, and Russian.
