Nataliya Kurchatova is a poet, prose writer, and journalist. Born in 1977, she graduated from the Department of Journalism of St. Petersburg State University. She publishes poetry and literary criticism under various pennames, most famously, Marzia Germanika. Kurchatova is a contributing writer for the book review section of Time Out St.Petersburg.
